Your Job

As our Operations Manager you will…

  • be part of the Operations team, which takes care of the managing of running operations, growing our logistics network, B2B account management, vendor management, customer service, and reporting and invoicing
  • be responsible for ensuring smooth logistics processing by being the key contact for our logistics partners, steering and monitoring daily operations, and following up on problems on a detailed level
  • support the expansion of BorderGuru into new markets by evaluating possible partner companies as well as onboard and train new logistics service providers on our software system
  • Build complex logistics costs models over our whole logistics chain
  • support the BorderGuru team by testing new features of our unique order management and logistics software
  • work together with internal and external teams
  • have the opportunity to develop into further positions within BorderGuru

Your Profile

  • University degree or apprenticeship in logistics, business, management or related fields
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in either logistics operations, vendor management, project management, or related fields, preferably in the logistics industry
  • Affinity for numbers and experience in creating cost calculations, e.g. using Microsoft Excel
  • Interest in working in a young, dynamic company with an international team
  • Keen on taking on responsibility
  • A team player with self-confidence and personal motivation
  • Interest in international logistics
  • Ability to excel and react positively to the dynamic demands of a rapidly evolving company

  • be part of the growing international sales team, which takes care of the growth of our B2B-client base, customer group and finally of the company

The Service Provider Team is responsible for building and extending the software to dispatch packages from our warehouses to their final destination for delivery to the end customer. We provide internal services and integrations with our 3rd party partners to allow processing and dispatch high parcels volumes.

We’re hiring highly a talented and technical DevOps Engineer to join our Service Provider team to build advanced tools and infrastructure for our whole stack, so we can continue growing and improving our capabilities to process higher volumes.

Your challenge:

  • Installation, configuration/build-up and maintenance of new and existing deployments.
  • Increase performance, security and scalability of our products
  • Optimize and maintain existing infrastructure
  • Write clean, modular and robust code

Your Skills & Profile:

  • 1+ years of experience working as DevOps
  • Practical Linux systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment

  • Experience with seamless/automated code deployment and release management

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Service Provider team to build advanced tools and services which will improve and extend our parcel dispatching service which is one of our core components and has immediate impact on our customer base as well as in the integrations with our partners.
